Looking for a yummy gluten free crust? Look no farther! I love this crust for when I want to make a gluten free version of my quiche! It is quick, and only uses 4 ingredients!
What you will need:
2 cups almond flour: I use this almond flour
2 Tablespoons butter or coconut oil (if you want it to be paleo)
1/4 tsp salt
Add the ingredients in a food processor and blitz it until they are combined.
You will then flour or grease your hands and gently press the dough into your pie dish.
If you want to prebake the crust (for say a dessert pie with a filling you simply add in with no baking required) you will bake it in a 350 oven for about 10 minutes or lightly browned. If you are making something that needs to be baked anyway, simply put in your filling and bake as your pie recipe directs.
This makes 1 bottom pie crust. If you want to try making a top crust (I have not done so yet) you can place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and gently use a rolling pin to roll out the dough.
I love using this pie crust for my Classic Quiche
