I am not a professional chef, a nutritionist, a doctor, or anything with any form of professional credentials that make me an expert in any particular field. I am a wife and a busy homeschooling mom. I created this blog because I was ALWAYS taking pictures of my food and experimenting with different recipes, and I love my family and I am passionate about learning how I can support their healthy future through natural living. I believe in full disclosure so here ya go…..
FOOD: I’m not a 100% perfect “clean eater”. My kids eat pizza occasionally, (preferably homemade) and they sometimes eat boxed cereal when I’m tired and don’t have time, energy, or ingredients to make homemade breakfast every morning. I would encourage you to do your best to eat clean, but don’t drive yourself crazy over the details or a few slip ups.
HEALTH: I honestly try to avoid the doctors office as much as possible, but we do have medical help for a reason and sometimes it is necessary. Natural solutions are definitely my first option whenever possible, but if for some reason I don’t see the results that I need after a certain period of time, I do consult with a physician. It’s your body, you are your best health advocate!
ESSENTIAL OILS: Not much to say except that I LOVE them and don’t want to think about where my family would be without them! I do work with one essential oil company in particular and although I do strive to be objective and not brand specific in my posts, please keep this in mind.
