Bedtime should be relaxing. With the aromatic benefits of lavender essential oil, this lavender linen spray is perfect to keep beside the bed to spray your linens before you go to sleep at night. Lavender is calming and soothing and will not only freshen your linens, but can also help promote a restful nights sleep.
When expecting guests, not only do I want the rooms to look clean, I know the power of aromatherapy and that having everything smell good is equally important. After washing the bed linens, I spray them with this lavender spray to give it a fresh and soothing scent.
Here’s what you will need:
4 Tablespoons inexpensive vodka or witch hazel. You can find witch hazel at most stores or like this kind
3/4 Cup distilled water
20 drops good quality lavender essential oil
Combine the ingredients in a jar with a lid and shake well to combine. Using a funnel, pour the liquid into the glass spray bottle(s). Print out a pretty label like this (where I got my recipe inspiration) and your spray is ready to use.
This is perfect as a linen spray, a bed refresher, or part of a relaxing nighttime routine for adults or children. After I made this spray my five year old daughter wanted to immediately go spray her bed.
